As Bill Gates said at the World Economic Forum’s 2008 meeting in Davos, “There are two great forces of human nature—self-interest, and caring for others.”  I like to think of myself as a person who cares for others as a part of my self-interest.

Because of this, I have decided to dedicate part of my time to help entrepreneurs achieve their dreams by providing them guidance and advice. 

Currently, I am on the Board of Directors of Essential Minds, the company that I founded in 2000.

I hold the Chair for The Netherlands in the board of directors of the North American Organization, Women in Toys.  We organize interesting events that promote and support women in the toy licensing and merchandising industry.

I am a Tutor for the Catalan Government initiative Start-Up Catalonia, where I provide guidance to entrepreneurs and a roadmap to their success

Also, I am volunteering my time  at The American School of The Hague as Vice President for the fundraising events.
